Paper Pop-Up Roundup

In the same vein as Thomas Allen's pulp novel pop-up book art, artist Mia Cabana and her boyfriend, photographer Oliver Scott Snure are making similar pop-ups mixed with tiny models in their Ex Libris project. (via Design*Sponge)

And just when you thought you couldn't take any more popping of paper, French artist Anastassia Elias gets down to work with an x-acto and some toilet paper rolls. Not to mention clever photography, that. (via Coudal)

Gum-Sticking Destinations, A Virtual Guide

After seeing a post on Likecool about gum stuck to the walls of Post Alley, under Pike Place Market in Seattle, I did a little research and found that the human urge to stick absolutely massive quantities of gum to stuff is not unique to Seattle.

First stop: Post Alley, Seattle.

Next stop: The Gum Tree at Ball State University

Next stop: Bubblegum Alley in San Luis Obispo, CA

Next stop: Penny Tree near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

... and if don't yet have the heebie jeebies yet, there's always the Gum Stuck on Stuff Flickr Pool.
